These 20-145 billet third member housings are machined from billet 6061 aluminum and designed as a high-strength replacement for factory cast iron or aluminum housings. Engineered for extreme-duty applications, this billet design significantly increases strength while reducing weight compared to traditional cast housings.

Each SQHD third member is fully assembled with a billet pinion support, 7075 aluminum main bearing caps, carrier adjusters, a replaceable pinion support, and a load bolt for increased rigidity and durability under high torque loads.

Critical stress points from the factory casting have been reinforced with additional material, making this billet housing stronger and more resistant to twisting and deflection than the original OEM design. This makes it an ideal upgrade for high-horsepower, heavy-load, and performance-driven applications where factory housings are prone to failure.
