These F106 third member housings are machined from billet 6061 aluminum and are designed as a high-strength replacement for factory cast iron F106 center sections. Each unit weighs approximately 24 lbs compared to the 49 lb factory cast housing, significantly reducing overall drivetrain weight.

Every F106 billet third member comes complete with a billet pinion support, 7075 aluminum main bearing caps, carrier adjusters, a replaceable pinion support, and a load bolt for increased rigidity under extreme load conditions.

The billet case is reinforced with additional material in known weak points of the original casting, improving strength and durability beyond the factory design.
