9" Axle Housing
Our IMS 9” axle housings are meticulously crafted in-house to ensure top-notch quality and performance. Crafted with a 3/8” thick faceplate and 3/16” A36 steel housing, these housings are built to last. The axle tubes are seamlessly welded to the faceplate, housing, and internally gusseted for unmatched strength. Internally gusseted and welded, these housings offer an extra layer of durability. Once the welding is complete, the faceplates are precision-machined flat.
These housings are thoughtfully designed to accommodate 9” and 10” gear sets without needing any modifications. Standard options include 3.5” ¼ wall and 4” 3/8” wall axle tubes, all set within a 68” width. Custom lengths and offsets are also available upon request, providing tailored solutions for your specific needs.

Building an axle using 2005+ Super Duty outer C’s and want brand-new C’s to start with? These are the solution. Cast and machined in the USA, they’re built for durability.
For builds that will see extreme terrain, we added 1/2" to the inner side for increased engagement and incorporated webbing to tie the upper and lower portions of the knuckle into the added material. We’ve made these available in 3.5” to 4” OD tube so they are ready to install.
These tube seals are designed and made in-house. The outer piece permanently mounts in the tube and allows the inner aluminum housing and seal setup to be removed from inside the housing. We use Seals-It seals with all of our tube seals.
These IMS Unit Bearing Cups are specifically designed to seamlessly integrate 05+ Super duty unit bearings into your straight axle construction. By incorporating these cups and unit bearings, you can bypass the conventional spindle and hub arrangements, opening the door for the utilization of 40 spline axle shafts in your setup.
Cups come in 3.5” and 4.0” bores. Additional sizes can be made upon request.
